Racecourse: Paris-Vincennes
- The first, the most famous, the largest trotting racecourse in the world
- An outstanding arena for competing trotters with its legendary 1,975-metre cinder track, three sweeping, banked bends, a selective uphill slope and a magnificent main straight.
Late January international race meeting
- The Prix d'Amérique has been held on every last Sunday in January since 1920, the date of its creation.
- Drawing together the most renowned international experts.
- Watched by several millions TV viewers in 70 countries and 3 continents.
An incredible programme
- Traditionally opens with an American-style show complete with cheerleaders, and a spectacular ceremony on the theme of America…
- The Garde Républicaine and the Carrousel des Lances put on a parade every year.
- The afternoon features 9 trotting races, including the Prix d’Amérique Marionnaud at 3.40 p.m.
A celebrity meeting place
- Film directors, actors, designers, models all follow the race intently from the highly select Official Village.
- The Prix d’Amérique Marionnaud is pleased to welcome many official figures: such as government ministers in 2007.
The charitable Prix d'Amérique Marionnaud
- Since 1990, le Prix d'Amérique Marionnaud has used its international renown to benefit charity.
- In 2008, all the proceeds from admissions and the sales of the collector's T-shirt designed by Stefano Pilati for Yves Saint-Laurent will be donated to the French Institute for Spinal Cord and Brain Research.
